Grand Opening of Dumfries Midwifery and Pediatric Care Center is Nov. 16
Dumfries Midwifery and Pediatric Care Center (DMPCC) will hold a ribbon cutting on Friday, Nov. 16 at 10:30 am at 18059 Triangle Plaza, Dumfries, VA 22026. Prince William Chamber of Commerce members and local elected officials have been invited to the ceremony.
This is your opportunity to tour the new facility, meet Certified Nurse Midwife Lisa Napier and Medical Assistant Janee Johnson, and enjoy social time and refreshments.
DMPCC is a “sister” satellite office of Manassas Midwifery and Women’s Health Center, which has been providing care for patients throughout the Prince William area since 2009.
DMPCC’s pediatric care will be provided by real sisters – twins Rebecca and Caroline Sutter, who are Family Nurse Practitioners.
Funding for the new center is provided in part by a generous grant from the Potomac Health Foundation, which is making it possible for DMPCC to bring CenteringParenting(TM), an innovative group model of well-woman and well-baby care through the first year to women in Prince William. CenteringParenting(TM) is currently offered in only 15 locations in the U.S. Manassas Midwifery pioneered the first offerings of CenteringPregnancy(TM) in Prince William, which is now being offered at the Greater Prince William Community Health Center in Woodbridge, as well.
DMPCC will provide the same high quality, affordable health care that women have come to expect and enjoy at Manassas Midwifery. The center will also provide pediatric care for children ages newborn to 17 for minor illnesses, school physicals and well child visits.

This sounds like such a boon for the community. Lisa Napier CNM is brilliant and gifted, and will be a tremendous asset at DMPCC, as she was in her previous endeavors. Kudos to those responsible for bringing this high-quality, holistic healthcare to Dumfries and the surrounding communities.
