Lindsay Chevrolet & Dale City Little League Compete For Nat's Zimmerman Clinic
Lindsay Chevrolet and Dale City Little League Compete to Receive Free Clinic from National’s Slugger Ryan Zimmerman
Woodbridge, VA (5.31.12) – Lindsay Chevrolet has teamed up with the Dale City Little League to compete for a free baseball clinic from the Washington National’s all-star Ryan Zimmerman in July. The Dale City Little League needs the public’s help to win as it is in direct competition with over twenty other DC-area youth baseball leagues (YBL).
Lindsay Chevrolet is part of the Washington Area Chevrolet Dealers, a group of 28 dealerships in Virginia, Maryland, and the greater DC region. Each dealership has partnered with its local YBL in the hopes of landing the exciting free baseball clinic where the popular third-baseman will conduct a fun and instructional program that will help young ball players hone their baseball skills.
Lindsay Chevrolet is asking people to vote for Dale City Little League by visiting the dealership’s Facebook page or by visiting mychevyleague.com. The YBL that receives the most votes wins the 2 ½ hour free clinic from Zimmerman. In addition, once a person casts a vote, he or she will automatically be in the running to win free tickets to a Nationals home game. The winning YBL will be announced Monday, June 25.
“Our partnership with Dale City Little League reinforces our position as a business steeped in supporting our community,” said Paul Smyth, GM of Lindsay Chevrolet. “We need the public’s help in giving our young ball players the chance of a lifetime – the opportunity to meet and learn from a local sports hero and one of Major League Baseball’s most talented players.”
Throughout this campaign, at the Turley Field, Lindsay Chevrolet will have the new Chevrolet Equinox on display.ar
Free Nationals Tickets - Those who vote for their preferred YBL to receive the free Zimmerman clinic will automatically be in the running to receive free Nationals tickets.
