Burglar Hides Until Target Closes, Raids iPad Cabinet

Apple products and other items stolen valued at $10,000, according to Prince William County Police

An unknown suspect hid until closing at the Woodbridge Target over the weekend and raided the electronics section, stealing $10,000 in iPads and other products.

Police responded to an alarm sounding at 3:29 a.m. Saturday at Target, 2460 Prince William Parkway, according to police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

Officers found the rear emergency door was ajar. Survielence footage was not available at the time of the crime, but the suspect was spotted entering the store prior to closing.

The suspect is believed to have used tools from the store to break into cabinets in the electronic section, according to Perok. 

"The suspect took multiple iPads and other property, valued around $10,000, before fleeing the store through the emergency exit which triggered the alarm," Perok said.

Police are on the lookout for a white male, between 16 and 24, 5'10", approximately 130lbs, with a thin build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans and black sneakers.

"Creative" criminal to say the least, but a freaking IDIOT by getting his face picked up by security cameras. Hope for his speedy arrest, conviction, and detainment.

He's an idiot for the grand larceny he committed, not for having his face picked up by the security camera.
