Woodbridge-area residents reported two apparently unrelated burglaries at their homes recently. 

A homeowner on the 13900 block of Lynhurst Drive in Dale City reported on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. that a burglary occurred between 7:55 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. that day. A screen in rear window of the home was removed and the window broken out. The homeowner reported three gaming systems, four TVs, a laptop computer and other items missing. The total value was about $1,840 for all items. 

A homeowner on the 16600 block of Fern Place reported at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday that a burglary occurred between 9 p.m. the night before and 8:45 a.m. The burglar likely entered through an unsecure front window. $220 worth of clothing and other items were reported missing.
