A Dale City man faces charges after a woman reported he raped her at his home, Prince William County Police said. 

Jamar Lee Anderson, 21, of Morrison Court, is charged with rape. 

Detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to a report of a sexual assault from a 20-year-old Dumfries woman at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday. The woman reported she was visiting Anderson, an acquaintance, at his home when the incident occurred.

"While there, the accused raped the victim," Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the police department, said in a press release. 

The victim went to the hospital and police were contacted. After an investigation, the Anderson was arrested. He was held without bond.
