Dense Fog Advisory In Effect Until 10 a.m.
FYI - It's like pea soup out there
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m. for Lorton and the Washington, D.C. metro area. Visibility is expected to be less than a quarter mile, and drivers are warned to keep their distance.
Today will be cloudy with the high at 76 degrees with a low of about 57.
"Whereas incredibly warm weather is the broken record to our northwest, an easterly flow of air (off the ocean) has moderated temperatures in our region the last several days," according to the Capital Weather Gang. "Yet it’s still unseasonably mild despite the bouts of fog and clouds, and the cooling breeze. That’s the case again Wednesday."
Expect more fog on Thursday morning and a high near 77 degrees.
