Group Beat Up, Robbed Woodbridge Teenager

The men stole a jacket, iPod and cash before they fled on foot, police said.

A group of men allegedly ganged up on a Woodbridge teenager and robbed him in the middle of the night, police said.

The 16-year-old victim reported at 3:31 a.m. on Jan. 13 that he was walking near Kentucky and Florida avenues when a group of unknown men approached him. The men allegedly assaulted the victim, then knocked him to the ground and took his jacket, iPod and an undisclosed amount of cash. The men then fled on foot.

Police used a K-9 during the search, but did not find the suspects. The victim did not provide a description of the suspects and was unsure how many men were involved.

The victim sustained minor injuries.
