Holiness Tabernacle Church Burglarized

The burglar stole items with a total value of $6,200.

The Holiness Tabernacle Church of God in Christ was invaded by a burglar early this week, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police first responded to the report of a burglary on July 9 at 8:27 a.m. Church staff told police that the burglary must have happened between 9:15 a.m. on July 8 and 8:19 a.m. on July 9.

The burglar most likely got into the church by cutting the glass out of one of the doors, police said.

"A laptop, TV, DVD player, various computer items and keys, valued around $6,200, were reported missing," Perok said.

that is a travesty, how do you steal from a church, that does so much good for the community? Does the thief not realize that God is watching...

Hi Helen,
Thanks for your comment. It is sad, but it is not the first time a church in the Woodbridge area has been burglarized: http://woodbridge-va.patch.com/articles/teens-charged-in-armed-robbery-of-church-collection

These people have no values, no morals and no limits. Hope they try breaking into my home...I'll arrange a meeting between them and the almighty.
