Police Blotter: Prince George's Police Officer Accused of Biting Woodbridge Woman
Police updates from Sept. 16.
A Prince George's County Police Officer was arrested yesterday for allegedly biting his wife, identified as a 30-year-old Woodbridge woman.
Anthony Eugene Thompson, 42, of 14155 Landon Ln. was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery. Thompson was also charged with violating a protective order after police made a return visit to the aforementioned address.
Prince William County Police responded to Landon Lane two times yesterday. In the first incident, at 8:27 p.m., the victim told police that she and her husband, the accused, were in a verbal argument that ended in Thompson biting her on the arm.
According to police, Thompson was arrested without incident. But, at 3:58 a.m. last night police responded to the same address where the victim said that Thompson had violated the a protective order that prohibited contact between Thompson and the victim; resulting in the second charge and subsequent arrest.
Crime Solvers Case:
Appliances valued around $2,400 were reported missing from a home in the 13200 block of Treetop Court on Sept. 16. According to police, the burglary occurred between 12:01 a.m. on July 28 and 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 17. It appears that there was no forced entry.
