On Aug. 29, several callers told police that they heard gunshots in the area of Pinewood Court and Colchester Road in Woodbridge, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

"Multiple callers reported to police that they heard what was believed to be several gunshots in the area above," Perok said.

When police responded at 11:58 p.m. that same night, they found no suspects, and found that no property had been damaged and no one had been injured. 

If gunshots were fired, this would have been an unlawful discharge of a firearm.
