Storm Knocks Out Power to 108,000 in Northern Virginia
Prince William County spared from much of damage farther north
A powerful afternoon storm on Saturday carrying 60 to 70-mile per hour winds has knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of homes across Northern Virginia.
Prince William County residents were spared from much of the damage more northern neighbors face. About 2,684 residents across the county are without power, compared with 59,841 homes across Fairfax County, 16,227 in Loudoun County, 2,577 in Falls Church, 2,513 in Fairfax City and 3,425 in Alexandria, as of just after 5 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning for the Northern Virginia area that expired Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
Unconfirmed reports say a tornado may have touched down in the area of Bailey's Crosroads, but "we haven't been able to confirm anything yet," said Jeremy Lasich, a spokesman for Fairfax County.

The first paragraph reads "hundreds of thousands" title states 108 thousand without power, then when I add the numbers given in the second paragraph, it comes to 87,267 homes without power. Way to exaggerate for a story people!

@ Brian Look They left off the numbers for Foker County and did not include any numbers for Maryland.
Very easy to add a few hundred thousand for the greater Washington Area. The headline was probabily for the whole region.
