Swim Meet Results: Week 7 Divisionals
See how our eastern Prince William teams fared in the biggest meet of the summer.
It all comes down to this: week seven of the Prince William Swim League season. Also known as Divisionals. The 24 Prince William County teams divide into color-coded divisions and face off for their division’s title.
Congratulations to the Westridge Waves, the team claimed the Orange Division title against the Veterans Park Marlins and Stonewall.
The Lake Ridge Lancers placed third behind the Sudley Seahorses and the Braemar Blasters in the Blue Division. From Coach Kristen Misencik:
The "small, but mighty" Lake Ridge Lancers swam tough against the Sudley Seahorses and Braemar Blasters last Saturday and placed third in the Blue Division. Lake Ridge swam with 145 swimmers against Sudley's 245 swimmers and Braemar's 215 swimmers. The Old Bridge Breakers clinched the Black Division against the Ben Lomond Ducks and the Montclair Seahawks.
Ridgewood placed third behind Kingsbrooke and Victory lakes in the Red Division, hosted at the Ridgewood pool.
The Dale City Frogs took third in the Green Division against Brookside and Virginia Oaks swim teams.
