Woodbridge Crime: Rape Charge, Janitor Charged With Assault

The following information comes from the Prince William County Police Department. Where arrests or convictions are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Rape Charge

Prince William County Police have charged a Woodbridge man with rape after an investigation closed on an attempted sexual assault.

A 27-year-old Woodbridge woman told police she was asleep in her bedroom when she awoke to the accused—a known acquaintance—attempting to sexually assault her.

Police said the victim fought off the man and police were called.

Assault & Battery at Enterprise Elementary

Police have arrested and charged an elementary school janitor after a 7-year-old student told police he was assaulted.

The incident was reported at Enterprise Elementary School in Dale City where the student told police that earlier in the day on Friday a janitor cornered him. The student  said the janitor was pushing a dolly hand cart down the school’s hallway when he allegedly cornered student against a bulletin board and pushed him, police said.

The janitor reportedly walked away after pushing the student, police said. But there appears to be no reason for the encounter and the student was not injured.
