The July Fourth holiday falls on a Wednesday this year.

Get tickets to the Potomac Nationals game on July 4 online. The game starts at 6:35 p.m. and kids will be able to run the bases after the game. Stick around after the final inning for a fireworks display. 

Get a head start on the holiday by checking out Tim's Rivershore's Not on the Fourth fireworks show on Saturday, June 30. Tim's Rivershore is located at 1510 Cherry Hill Dr. in Dumfries. 

Check out the Dale City Independence Day parade on July Fourth. The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on the holiday and will run along Dale Boulevard. 

Fireworks in Manassas City. Head across the county for the festivities that start at 4 p.m. with food, rides, concessions and more. The evening ends with one of the largest fireworks displays in Northern Virginia at 9:15 p.m.
