Woodbridge Man Shot in the Leg During Argument

The 29-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A Woodbridge man was shot in the leg Wednesday as he was arguing with two unknown men, Prince William County Police said.

The 29-year-old victim reported at 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday that someone had shot him. He told police that he was arguing with the two men when the confrontation escalated: one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot him in the leg.

After the shooting, the men drove off in a white vehicle with black stripes. It might have been a Dodge Charger, according to police. First responders transported the victim to a hospital. He had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are on the lookout for the two men. One allegedly has short hair and a goatee, and is black. The other man reportedly has dreadlocks and is black. No further description is available.
