The store announced it would be expanding its footprint with exterior, freestanding restaurants between the AMC Potomac Mills Movie Theater and Costco. This will be the first Cheesecake Factory in Prince William County. A third restaurant will be announced soon, the mall public relations department said.  “Bobby’s Burger Palace offers 10 signature burgers, made with Certified Angus Beef, ground turkey or chicken breast, and a wide variety of sides including beer battered onion rings, milkshakes and more,” mall management …

Art on the Block Highlights Local Talent

Four galleries hosted open houses during Occoquan's Art on the Block event on May 12.

Photographs of dining patrons transformed by digital paint colors; layers of beeswax mixed with resin and oil colors; a representation of death and hope captured in a single white balloon—these gallery pieces were among hundreds on display for Occoquan’s Art on the Block. The May 12 event was the collaborative effort of four galleries located on the 300 block of Mill Street: Kelly’s Artbox, Artists’ Undertaking Gallery, The Loft Gallery, and Art a La Carte. Vision for Vacancies: Dillingham Square

What should go in this vacant Lake Ridge building?

In our last Vision for Vacancies, we asked what you thought should go in the former Woodbridge Bloom location. With such a sizeable pad site, suggestions leaned towards an indoor skating facility for all ages. What about this location? It's in Lake Ridge's Dillingham Square across the street from Blockbuster video store, and next to Palm Beach Tan. It used to be the site of Burke Electronics, before the locally-owned business moved to the County Center area off of Marblestone Drive. So, what do you think should go in this building? Take our Patch poll and tell us in the comments!
