Congratulations go to Michael's Flowers for winning this week's Readers' Choice poll! "They have always taken the time to add that extra touch to each order. A Lake Ridge area Chinese take-out has claimed the Best of Eastern Prince William County title.  Empire Restaurant in Merchants Plaza near Safeway claimed the top spot in this week’s Readers Choice poll. Empire Restaurant is located at 4212 Merchant Plz Woodbridge, VA 22192  Sampan Chinese Restaurant, Hunan D’lite Restaurant and East Moon Asian Bistro were commented as other area favorites. With 38 percent of the vote, Silver Diner won best breakfast in eastern Prince William County.  In reviews on Silver Diner’s directory listing, residents wrote that they liked the “really good focus on local ingredients and more organic options” and the quick and friendly service.  Silver Diner is themed a la 1950s style, so if you’re feeling a bit nostalgic the diner is open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. If you're looking for a place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day tomorrow why not visit Bungalow Alehouse, the Readers' Choice this week? On its Facebook page, Bungalow Alehouse said it will be offering St. Patrick's Day fare through March 18 including rueben rolls, a danny boy sandwich, corn beef platter and Guiness stew.  The restaurant has a variety of drink and food options, with huge television screens to watch the NCAA tournament on.  Bungalow Alehouse is located at 2840 Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge.
