2014 Frigid February 5K Moved to March
Occoquan run rescheduled. Slightly less frigid, we hope.
The Frigid February 5k Run/Walk through the streets of Occoquan is back on — just in March.
The Optimist Club of Occoquan-Woodbridge-Neabsco has rescheduled the event for March 1. The run had originally been scheduled for Feb. 8, but was put off due to weather conditions that were too frigid.
Online registration is $25. Sign up here. Day-of registration will be $30.
Net proceeds from the event benefit the club's effort to help children in area elementary schools.
The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. March 1 at 413 Mill Street. Packet pickup and day-of registration will be from 7-8 a.m.
