Flight Delays and Cancellations at Washington-Area Airports

Bad weather elsewhere contributing to problems.

Snow and ice in the Northeast were contributing to significant flight delays Tuesday at Reagan National and Dulles airports, with several airports in the New York region temporarily closed to incoming flights.

National Airport was reporting significant, and growing, delays Tuesday, with some flights canceled altogether and more expected as a snow storm that moved in continues.

At Dulles International Airport, fewer delays have been reported, but travelers were being urged to check with their airlines for updates. Baltimore-Washington International Airport was reporting moderate delays.
