Get Out: Weekend Planner

Find things to do in Woodbridge this weekend.

The House, an after-school center for kids, is hosting a on Friday for kids grade four through 12. Activities include video games, ping pong, air hockey and various sports. For only $5, you’re in the door and having fun.

Also Saturday, there is an 8 hour at the for kids age 11 through 15. Hosted by the American Red Cross, the class will cover what you need to know to get ready for a possible summer job.

On Sunday, the Third Thursday Thrillers Book Club will be hosting a . The event is free and open to all, but call ahead if you’re interested in being a role player. Bring a dish to share and see if you can handle to suspense.

Still no football, and it might not be back for a while. The Wizards are at Miami on Friday while the Caps host the Rangers. On Saturday, the Wizards return home to host the Mavericks while the Caps are away to New York. Also the weekend, there is college basketball, the NASCAR series continues and the WGC Match Play Championships conclude.
