Grab & Go Kids Planner

Spring is just around the corner, so check out some books from Chinn Park Regional Library or Potomac Community Library and find a good spot outside to read with the whole family this weekend.

Head over to Potomac Community Library and pick up March’s monthly mind bender contest form and complete it with the whole family.  This month’s topic is “Dr. Seuss Puzzler.” You could win a prize if you submit your answers! Forms must be completed and turned in by March 31 by 9 p.m. for the drawing.

• Attend Bingo night at the OWL Volunteer Fire Department on Wednesday, March 16 or Saturday, March 19 at 5:15 p.m.

• Head out to Lake Ridge Park and learn how to survive in the wild on March 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This program is only for those 12 years old and up. There is a $15 fee for this class.

• Meet Iditarod dog musher, Karen Land, and her dog, Borage at the Chinn Park Regional Library on March 20 at 3 p.m.

• Support the local middle and high school students by attending a music or sporting event:
