Lanes Closed on Interstate 95 Friday Night for Construction
Lane closures at night and early morning, full roadway closures for limited portions of the overnight hours, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Late night and early morning commuters on Interstate 95 will want to plan extra time Friday night and Saturday morning, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Two lanes on I-95 north will be closed for about a mile beginning just prior to Dale Boulevard, exit 156, to allow crews to erect an overhead sign.
Starting at 9:30 p.m. Friday, one left lane will close, according to VDOT, followed by the second left lane at 10:30 p.m.

Beginning at midnight, there will be intermittent full roadway closures of up to 20 minutes through the overnight hours. VDOT says the two left lanes will be re-opened by 5 a.m. Saturday, April 5.
This work is part of the 95 Shoulder Widening project.
