OmniLink Teen Summer Bus Pass Returns

The OmniLink Teen Summer Pass, which enables teens to get unlimited local bus rides for one low price, is now on sale. The pass is accepted for local bus fares on OmniLink and Cross County Connector buses between Wednesday, June 1 and Saturday, September 3, 2011.  

That’s three full months of rides for just $30! With the OmniLink Teen Summer Pass, teens won’t need to borrow the family car or beg for gas money to get around town.  With the pass teens have a safe, reliable ride to get to summer jobs, shopping centers, recreation centers, libraries and lots of other places where teens want to go. 

Passes will be sold at: 

• The PRTC Transit Center, at the intersection of Potomac Mills Road and Telegraph Road in Woodbridge, weekdays until August 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
• Potomac Mills Mall Food Court from 12 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 and Saturday, June 25.  (No credit card or debit card purchases at this location; cash or check only.) 
• Manassas Mall Food Court from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 and Saturday July 9.  (No credit card or debit card purchases at this location; cash or check only.)

Teens who have a photo ID should bring it with them when purchasing a pass.  PRTC will apply a sticker to the front of the ID showing that they have purchased an OmniLink Teen Summer Pass for 2011.  Teens who don’t have a photo ID will be given a Teen Summer Pass card with a sticker.  

Teens simply show their ID with the sticker, or the Summer Pass card with the sticker to the bus operator each time they board. 

As an added bonus, PRTC is giving away a free gift with every OmniLink Teen Summer Pass, while supplies last.  And there’s more!  Teens with a Summer Pass can save $1 off Potomac  Nationals tickets for Friday night home games starting June 10!
