Prince William Clean Community Council to Hold Award Ceremony

Gala will be held in Occoquan.

  • The following is a press release from the Prince William Clean Community Council. It is unedited.

The Prince William Clean Community Council is a non-profit affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc. whose mission is to empower citizens and businesses of Prince William County to become self-sufficient stewards of the local environment through litter prevention, education and community involvement.

Join us at our 1st Annual Environmental Stewardship Awards Gala at the historic Rockledge Mansion, July 28th 2011 from 7-9 p.m. The mansion is located at 400 Mill Street in Occoquan, VA. Tickets are $75 and include food and entertainment. There will also be a silent auction with exciting items like Limited Edition 2010 Team Laser Signed" football valued at $100, from the Washington Redskins, with proceeds being used to help support our mission.

The gala is an opportunity to honor those in our community for their contributions to a clean and healthy Prince William County environment, through active stewardship. This year’s honoree is the News & Messenger.
