Prince William County Schools Closed Monday
In advance of the storm, the system has announced it will be closed.
Prince William County Schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane Sandy.
The system followed suit with other Northern Virginia school districts. Fairfax County Schools announced Sunday schools would be closed Monday and Tuesday.
"On Monday, October 29, all Prince William County Public Schools will be closed due to weather-related conditions. Code Red for employees. All school division activities cancelled. The School Age Care Program will not open," said a post on PWCS' Web site.

Gov. Bob McDonnell advised Sunday afternoon that Virginians should make final Hurricane Sandy preparations this afternoon at the latest.
The federal government is closed Monday, as well.
