VRE Fare Increase Hearing Thursday
One of three meetings held in the area concerning the three percent fare increase
Virginia Rail Express is holding a hearing in Woodbridge concerning the proposed .
The hearing will on the second floor of the Potomac Rappahannock Transportation Commission board room at 14700 Potomac Mills Road at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
"As the federal and state funding that has allowed us to continue (and in some cases add) service disappears, we become ever more reliant on our riders in order to meet the operating needs that will sustain our current levels of service," said the VRE weekly newsletter.
