Woodbridge Math Teacher and American Idol Finalist Stars in Safe Driving Music Video

Travis Tucker sings "It Can Wait," in a music video released as part of the Partners for Safe Teen Driving statewide campaign.

While spoken reminders often fail to keep teenagers from texting while driving, the Partners for Safe Teen Driving hope that Woodbridge math teacher and American Idol finalist Travis Tucker's simple song "It Can Wait" will have better results.

The new music video will be officially shown at tonight's Prince William County School Board meeting in Manassas. The music video is part of an October statewide campaign by PFSTD to encourage teens to refrain from texting while driving.

Tucker is a math teacher at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, and the School Division's Office of Media Production services produced the video.
