Book Signing: 'A Taste of Virginia Tech' Comes to Occoquan

The book signing will be at Salt & Pepper Books in Occoquan on Sept. 15 from noon to 2 p.m.

Whether you're a Hokie at heart or just looking for new recipes this fall, stop by in Occoquan this Saturday to get a signed copy of "A Taste of Virginia Tech," written by Krista Gallagher and Kris Schoels. 

"'A Taste of Virginia Tech' will take you on a gluttonous tour from delicious West End Market to the highly anticipated Turner Place to the cozy eateries on downtown's Main Street," the book's blurb reads. "This cookbook features recipes for the most coveted dishes, both on and off campus."

The cookbook also features stories and essays about Virginia Tech's culinary history.

The book signing runs from noon to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 15. Admission to the book signing is free and open to the public, and a free recipe from the book will be available.
