A restaurant that has a new spin on pizza will be coming to town very soon.
Brixx Wood Fired Pizza will be calling Potomac Town Place in Woodbridge its new home. The restaurant has a second location in Charlottesville, VA.
The pizza place is a franchise company that contributes to their local community.
Brixx is eco-friendly and they strive to recycle most of their waste. They also use locally grown vegetables for their salads and pizza toppings. Brixx’s philanthropic efforts also set them apart from other pizza joints.
They focus on community service and donate to local charities through programs such as Brixx Bucks, which raises money for educational programs.
All of their pizzas are cooked in brick ovens to give them an improved wood-fired taste and if you’re in the mood for something other than the latter—they have a full menu.
Their menu includes sandwiches made from home-made focaccia bread, salads, appetizers, pastas and desserts. Brixx also offers a wide array of over 40 tap beers and by the bottle or glass wines to choose from.
Try one of their distinct pizza combinations available in their Charlottesville location, the Pear & Gorgonzola pizza. This pizza included toppings such as pear, gorgonzola blue cheese, walnuts and onions.
Individually these ingredients seem like an unlikely bunch for pizza toppings but, together they make for a delectable and exceptional experience for your taste buds.
It is Brixx’s attention to ingredients and experimenting with new flavors that keeps pizza lover’s anticipating their arrival in Woodbridge.
The restaurant is currently under construction and is scheduled to be open to the public the first week of June.
