Both Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme have deals you can snack on Friday.

Some days start off sweeter than others. And you can start the day off with a free treat for National Doughnut Day, Friday, June 6, 2014.

National Doughnut Day, celebrated on the first Friday of June each year, was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.
