Lake Ridge Ambulatory Surgical Center to Open Later This Year

With the scheduled opening of the Lake Ridge Ambulatory Surgical Center later this year, the will now house an outpatient surgery center on its second floor, Becker's ASC Review reported.

The new center will offer surgical orthopedic, spine, and pain treatment, and is being built in partnership with the Blue Chip Surgical Center Partners and Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. 

"By coming together in this unique collaboration, we will be able to better serve the needs of our patients and the community here in Prince William County," said Dr. Richard Layfield, an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon and president of Lake Ridge Ambulatory Surgery Center, in a statement. "With the team we have in place, we are confident our center will deliver superior outcomes, a great patient experience and solid business performance."

The 9,500-square-foot surgical center will have one operating room and one procedure room, Becker's ASC Review reported.
