LaVida Massage Now Open in Dale City

The third LaVida center in Virginia opened Dec. 16 at Cheshire Station Plaza.

LaVida Massage's first location in the Woodbridge area may bring up to 10 new jobs to the area. It opened Dec. 16.

“Woodbridge is a very active community, committed to health and wellness,” said owner, manager, and Woodbridge resident Joe Denney in a statement. “LaVida allows me to spread the word about the power of massage, build a business I love, all while investing in the health, wellness and business of Woodbridge.”

LaVida Massage is at 4267 Cheshire Station Plaza near Dale Boulevard and Minnieville Road. Denney could hire up to 10 therapists, receptionists and aestheticians in the next few months. Apply for a position on the LaVida website.

“Working-class adults aren’t the only ones who need stress relief these days—massage benefits everyone. I want to help spread the notion of massage as an alternative to medicine, and as an important part of athletic and fitness training,” Denney said.

The LaVida center has eight massage rooms and two couples' massage rooms. Massage services include Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal, and skin care services such as facials, peels, and waxing will also be offered in the near future. In addition, the center may partner with gyms and fitness centers in the area to offer gym members reduced rates on sport therapy massages.
