Rumors of No P.F. Chang's at Potomac Town Center False
Construction to begin early next year
The rumors of P.F. Chang's China Bistro deciding to cancel plans of opening a location at the Potomac Town Center are false.
A spokeswoman for the company said that the lease agreement with is signed and construction is scheduled to begin next year. The prospective grand opening date of P.F. Chang's is during the third quarter of 2012, according to the spokeswoman. The spokeswoman could not speak as to why rumors of cancellation may have been started in the first place, but did guarantee that an agreement has been met and plans have been set in motion.
P.F. Chang's is a Chinese bistro that combines influences of Chinese and American culture to create a unique dining experience, which complements its Chinese-inspired cuisine. The restaurant also features an expanded gluten-free menu which includes beef products and desserts. In 2010, P.F. Chang's was honored with the Vibe Vista Award for recognition of its superior wine program.
