Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill may open in the next month, according to a recent post on the Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center Facebook page.
An official opening date has never been announced, but the restaurant originally promised to open by the end of March. In April, restaurant representatives announced that they would be opening "soon." By the middle of the summer, the site seemed almost dead. Then, by the end of July, work was visible on the inside of the restaurant, which was still nowhere near completion. The restaurant installed lights, then booths, and the guitar bar was painted. The restaurant has held several job fairs and is looking todraw local bands. Despite all this, the restaurant still has no official opening date, representatives choosing instead to rely on their April line of promising to opening "soon."
