Toyota Prius Recall: What You Need to Know

Recall also includes a Lexus model; brake part a safety concern.

Toyota has recalled 87,000 vehicles to fix a brake part issue. The recalled models are the 2010 Toyota Prius and the Lexus HS 250h.

"The involved vehicles are equipped with a brake pressure accumulator that may develop a fatigue crack on an internal part due to vibration," according to a release. "Toyota has had no reports of any accidents or injuries associated with this condition."

Owners will be notified by mail of the issue. Crews will inspect the brake booster pump and replace the equipment, if necessary, according to Toyota.
