Virginia’s First Bahama Breeze to Open at Potomac Mills

will all open at Potomac Mills mall in November.

Mall management made the announcement Wednesday that Bahama Breeze would complete the trio of freestanding exterior restaurants.

“We are very excited to announce this third restaurant addition as part of our much anticipated property expansion and exterior renovation project,” said Mike Sullivan, general manager of Potomac Mills, in a prepared statement. “Adding this delicious assortment of restaurants to our growing fashionable retail mix will solidify Potomac Mills’ status as a leading shopping destination.”

A first for Virginia, Bahama Breeze is a Caribbean-themed restaurant with tropical drinks and island-influenced food.

“Construction has already begun on this revitalization project, which will feature earthy design treatments such as River stone and decorative wood,” said mall management Wednesday. “New landscaping, lighting features and updated signage will contribute to its welcoming ambience.”

, Potomac Mills said that the Cheesecake Factory and Bobby’s Burger Palace would be joining the area.

Additional stores buybuy Baby and Christmas Tree Shops will join Neighborhood 5 in the mall during fall 2013.
