Health & Fitness

Work Works

If you are willing to put the effort in, you can see changes in your body and health with an all-in-one personalized fitness package.

I’m not sure when I became one of “those people” who gets up early enough to work out before going to their day job. One of those people who have a pull-up bar on their home office door, exercise bands on the living room floor, and liquid egg whites in their fridge. One of those people who will spend twice as much on a good pair of running sneakers as they would ever dream of spending on stilettos.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a triple chocolate cookie as much as the next person, and my husband will tell you that one of my favorite hobbies is napping—but there is something powerful and almost addicting about seeing your body respond to a fitness program.

I got bit by the exercise bug a year and a half ago when I found out that exercise could be fun and make me feel better. But still, anyone who got up early enough to go to a 6 am class was simply a fanatic.

My final downfall came when I got a taste of YBY 360 bootcamps and saw that the “fanatical” extra mile of making sure that workout is a priority, and being willing to bring a cooler with you on a trip when you know your only other option is fast food, can cause results you thought were out of reach.

“Work works” is a favorite phrase repeated by Kristin Quinn, YBY’s founder and the driving force behind the program. A personal trainer and nutritionist, Quinn gives a body analysis and personalized nutrition plan to every person who signs up for the four-week bootcamps. And she and the other trainers design each set of bootcamps with each participant in consideration and how to best push them to new levels.

Once your four weeks are over, you get a week to regroup, reanalyze and go at it again with a revamped nutrition plan, if necessary, and brand new exercises to re-challenge your muscles. This ensures that you will not hit that deadly and infamous plateau that all exercisers fear.

I’d been in such a plateau since February, despite regular exercise and “watching” what I ate, I wasn’t going anywhere. But YBY 360 delivers results to you on a silver, sweat-dripping platter.

Yes, you have to work hard. Yes, you have to say no to cheeseburgers every night. But it works. After my first four weeks in the program I saw my body fat percentage go down and a difference in my before/after photos—changes I had not seen in months of working on my own.

In month two, even before getting my end reanalysis, I can see physical results in the mirror and dramatic differences in my endurance and strength. And let me tell you, there are few things as exciting as stretching at your desk in the middle of the afternoon and suddenly going, “Whoa, I have biceps! Those didn’t use to be there.”

And I know I’m not the only one. There are others in the class who were told by doctors that they would probably never be able to lose weight, and yet they are. Some who never exercised in their lives, and now are gaining strength and endurance. And some who are trained athletes who are also getting pushed to whole new levels.

Work works, and YBY 360 is guaranteed to help you do that work! Registrations for the August bootcamps end this Saturday at midnight. Learn more or register here.
