First Annual Dogs Walk for a Dog Park is a success!

The first PWC Dogs Dogs Walk for a Dog Park dog walk on April 28 was a huge success.  The rain held off and there were approximately 180 people and their dogs at the event.  Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we received lots of positive comments.  We raised $2,697.25 towards the dog park!  Thanks to all of the walkers and their dogs, the vendors, volunteers, LRPRA, Trails and Streams Coalition, the Park Authority, and Lake Ridge Park for helping to make it a success.

PWC Dogs plans to make this a bi-annual event and the next walk will probably be in October.  If you are interested in joining PWC Dogs to help with future fundraising events please send your request to PWCDogs-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
