Forest Park High School Coach Charged With Assaulting Teens

One of the reported victims was a student, and the other was a Woodbridge resident.

Police have charged Woodbridge resident and Forest Park High School coach John Farry, 44, with two counts of assault and battery after a 16-year-old female student and 17-year-old Woodbridge male were reportedly assaulted in the school parking lot, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police responded to the Dumfries school on Sept. 5 at 11:02 p.m. for a reported assault.

"The investigation revealed that the accused, a coach at Forest Park High School, had shoved the victims, a 16-year-old female student of the school and a 17 year old male of Woodbridge, while in the parking lot of the school," Perok said.

No one was injured, and the accused was arrested and charged after an investigation. 

He was charged with two counts of assault and battery. His court date information is unavailable, and he was released on a summons.
