The National Weather Service has said that there could be a chance of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening.

Tonight, more storms can be expected as NWS forecasts, "A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind between 13 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms."
