Handgun, Laptops and iPod Stolen in Recent Woodbridge Burglaries

Houses and vehicles in the Woodbridge area were reportedly burglarized.

Homeowners in the Woodbridge area recently reported the loss of a handgun, jewelry, laptops, iPods, and a camera, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

A homeowner in the 2700 block of McGuffey Court reported the loss of jewelry, a laptop, an iPod and a handgun, items with a total value of about $11,600. The homeowner told police that the burglary happened betwee 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 28. The burglar most likely entered the house through a basement door that had been forced open.

In an apparently unrelated incident, a homeowner in the 15100 block of Cloverdale Drive reported the loss of jewelry, a camera, two laptops and other items, with a total value of $3,100. The homeowner told police that the burglary happened between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 28. The burglar most likely entered the house through an unlocked basement window.
