Sentara Potomac Hospital Renamed

Hospital announced new name change Monday

From Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center:

Sentara Healthcare announces that Potomac Hospital is now Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.

“The decision to introduce a new hospital name was prompted by the many positive changes made at Potomac Hospital over the past two and a half years since joining Sentara Healthcare,” said Megan Perry, president of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center and corporate vice president, Sentara Healthcare in a press release. “We believe that a new hospital name is symbolic and a celebration of all the hard work that has been undertaken by our physicians, staff and volunteers to improve the service and care we provide every day.”
