Forecast Predicts Snow, Wintry Mix for Woodbridge

Tuesday morning's commute could be an icy one.

First it was fire, now the weather could be icy. After last week’s balmy unseasonably warm temperatures and blustery winds on Saturday the Woodbridge area could see sleet and snow by Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 9 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. Tuesday. NWS said that wintry mix will begin late Monday evening and will change into snow after midnight. NWS predicts accumulations of one to two inches of snow overnight.

After a few days in the high 60s, temperatures will plummet into the 30s tonight.
