Traffic Alert: Potential Delays on Route 123/1 Friday

Dominion Virginia Power will be transporting a new  transformer to the Sideburn substation at 5637 Guinea Road, Burke, VA. The transformer will be hauled by flatbed truck from the Possum Point substation in Prince William County to the Sideburn substation in Burke on Friday, April 22, 2011. 

VDOT has approved a route for the transport on Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.:

Prince William County

-          Possum Point substation, Cockpit Rd. (Route 783)

-          Possum Point Rd. (Route 633)

-          Route 1 North

-          Route 234 to I-95 North

-          Dale Blvd. (Route 784 East)

-          Neabisco Mills Rd. (Route 638)

-          Opitz Blvd. (Route 2000) – Changes to Smoketown Rd.

-          Minnieville Rd. (Route 640 North)
