Updated: Red Flag, Fire Warning for Northern Virginia
NWS said critical fire conditions exist.
The National Weather Service has issued a red flag fire warning from noon through 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions exist now or will be occuring later in the day. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create "explosive fire growth potential" said NWS.
Winds are forecast to be 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour.

A fire weather watch is also in effect from Tuesday afternoon until Tuesday evening.
