Hello and welcome! My name is Lauren Jost, and I am the editor of Woodbridge Patch.
As you'll see in the welcome video, Woodbridge is a community in transition. A community constantly in motion, Woodbridge is home to a rapidly growing and diverse population of over 40,000 residents.
I've lived in Woodbridge all my life, so I have seen first-hand how this community has transitioned over the years. Although, I did go to Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, I've always been a local.
Woodbridge Patch is here to serve you and your community. We'll be bringing you 100 percent Woodbridge news from high school sports, local politics, restaurant reviews, business news and much more.
We also maintain Twitter and Facebook accounts for up-to-the-minute news on developing stories, breaking news and feedback from you.
But, we do need your help. If you have a story idea, news tip or you just want to introduce yourself you can reach me through commenting on the site, email at laurenj@patch.com, call me at 571-263-9437 or drop a line through our social media.
Be sure to sign up for weekly and daily newsletters so you don't miss a thing when you're away from Woodbridge Patch.
You are welcome to link to my Daily Update so folks know about Woodbridge real estate news. Here is a quick tip for home buyers and home owners in Woodbridge: The inventory of homes for sale is at rock-bottom; Low supply and lots of buyers has resulted in multiple bids and bidding wars for homes. What I just wrote is contrary to the nonsense spewed by TV anchors who love saying "Real estate numbers are in a freefall". They just spewing "freefall". Well, if you take the sand states out of the mix (Nevada, Arizona, California, and Florida) you'll see that real estate values are holding steady or slightly rising slowly. All real estate is local.
