What You Need to Know: Monday Edition

Business Owner Town Hall: Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank J. Principi will be holding a business owners town hall on April 12 at 8 a.m in the McCoart Building at 1 County Complex in Woodbridge.

Second Teletown Hall: Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank Principi will hold his second tele-town hall to discuss the state of the Woodbridge district with his constituents. The Supervisor would like to have a dialogue to find out what pressing issues are on the minds of his constituents so they can give him guidance as adoption of the budget and redistricting loom.  

Smart Growth Symposium: Principi will be hosting on Thursday, April 14, 11:30am-4:30pm.  The symposium will feature regional experts who will share their expertise and views on what it will take to transform North Woodbridge into a compact, mixed-use, transit-oriented, walkable, bicycle-friendly, urban center that provides jobs, high-end retail, and housing choices. 

STARS Golf Classic: This year’s 6th Annual STARS Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Noon at in Woodbridge, VA. Golfers will enjoy a day filled with supreme golf, lunch & dinner, competitions, and amazing prizes!

Seussical the musical:  The Center for Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) at selected to perform “Seussical” for their spring musical show. The show is directed by the school’s theatre teacher, Terri Caretti,  vocal direction by Monica Sobers (WSHS graduate CFPA Vocal Concentration 2005) and choreography by Kate Yow (WSHS graduate CFPA Dance concentration 2004). Performances are April 14, 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. and a 2 p.m. matinee on the 16.  Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $5.00 for students at $10.00 for adults.
