Winter Weather: Looking Back, Forward

This winter we should see near average temperatures with slightly above normal snowfall, according to the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang

is certainly no way to begin the fall, but to those of you weary of winter, rest assured—fall isn't going away any time soon. According to the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang winter weather forecast, "a nice chunk of fall still awaits" with temps in the 50s, 60s and maybe even the 70s for the region.

Overall, the Capital Weather Gang expects near average temperatures this winter—slightly warmer than last year. But snowfall is expected to be slightly higher than average and should top last year's 10.1 inches.
