Open your child's eyes to the true beauty of the natural world through Asian Brush Painting, the art form known as Sumi-e.  Award-winning artist Jean Seelig will introduce the 4000-year-old philosophy, traditions and techniques of Sumi-e brush painting as she teaches students to capture the essential spirit as well as the appearance of animals and plants within their designs.  One stroke techniques will be demonstrated and practiced during the workshop, culminating with the final complete painting of a tee shirt.  Don't miss this very special opportunity to study with Jean and share her joy for all things "Sumi-e"!
