Signing Storytime with Vanessa Smith

Join Vanessa Smith, a certified signing instructor, for an interactive storyhour featuring a story, sign language and a craft at Chinn Park Regional Library on Monday October 28th at 1 p.m. Signing is a wonderful way to communicate with children who are learning and developing language skills. It stimulates language development for young children and empowers them to communicate, as well as enhancing their spoken vocabulary and social skills. Story hours are designed to support the pre-reading skills every child needs to become a good reader. This is a free, drop in program for children ages two and up and their caregiver. No tickets or registration is required.
